Abbey Vince, AMFT

Hey, I’m Abbey.

Whether you’re feeling stuck in a problem story or seeking a supportive conversation, Abbey is here to help you rewrite your narrative and guide you on your healing journey.

My background & approach

Abbey is a compassionate and dedicated narrative therapist who creates a safe, welcoming environment where clients can explore and reshape their stories. With a deep commitment to supporting others, Abbey fosters a space where individuals feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working toward healing. As a therapist, Abbey believes in the power of storytelling to uncover strength, resilience, and new perspectives. She works collaboratively with clients to navigate challenges such as anxiety, grief, trauma, and relationship struggles, helping them grow, heal, and move forward with confidence and peace.

In addition, Abbey integrates ocean therapy and nature into her practice, offering a unique and healing approach. By incorporating her love for the ocean and the natural world, Abbey helps clients—whether adults, teens, or children—connect with the therapeutic power of nature. The calming and restorative qualities of the environment provide a perfect backdrop for exploring life’s challenges, allowing clients to reframe their struggles and create alternative stories of hope and strength. This blend of narrative therapy and nature-based healing helps individuals gain a fresh perspective, empowering them to find balance and resilience in their lives.

Outside of the therapy room, Abbey is an ocean lifeguard and an internationally competitive athlete in surf lifesaving and surf-skiing. She brings her love for the ocean and sport into her therapy practice, believing in the ocean’s power to heal and inspire.

Abbey uses the calming and resilient qualities of the sea to help clients connect with their own strength, encouraging growth and healing through nature’s force.
